Cookies and local storage
Cookie policy
Last updated · 16 September 2026
This policy describes the cookies and information stored in your browser when you visit the website www.hennebel.legal. The website sets no advertising cookies, uses no third-party trackers and carries out no profiling. The only items stored are strictly necessary for its operation and are, as such, exempt from the consent requirement under Article 82 of French Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978, as amended. No consent banner is therefore displayed: the banner visible at the bottom of the page serves solely to provide information.
A cookie is a small file stored by a website in your browser and read on your subsequent visits. The rules applicable to cookies extend to the other information that a website may keep in the browser. A session cookie disappears when the browser is closed; a persistent cookie is retained until it expires or is deleted.
Language preference. The website is published in English, French, Spanish and Russian. A session cookie, set by the website itself, remembers the language you are viewing so as to present you with the right version on your next visit to the website. It contains only the language chosen and cannot be used to identify you. It is deleted when the browser is closed.
Information banner. When you close the banner displayed at the bottom of the page, your browser retains this information so as not to display it again. It remains in your browser and is transmitted to no one.
The website's traffic and performance are measured by tools provided by its hosting provider, Vercel Inc. These tools operate without cookies and store nothing in your browser. They produce only aggregate statistics (pages visited, country, device type, loading time) and cannot track a visitor from one visit to the next. The technical data processed for this purpose are described in the privacy policy.
The website loads no content from third-party services liable to set their own cookies: no embedded videos, maps, sharing buttons or advertising. Fonts are hosted with the website.
The website's administration area, reserved for the firm, uses authentication cookies necessary for logging in. They do not concern visitors to the public website.
You may at any time delete the cookies and information stored by the website, or configure your browser to refuse cookies, through its privacy settings. Refusing the language cookie does not prevent you from using the website: each language version remains directly accessible.
Should the addition of a service subject to consent be contemplated, this policy would be updated and your consent obtained beforehand. The date of the last update appears at the top of the page. Any question may be addressed to global@hennebel.legal.
